Mission Statement: The Community Outreach Ministry will educate, guide, and assist people in the Knoxville community by mentoring, providing spiritual guidance, and establishing partnerships with area churches and other organizations.
Goals & Objectives:
Support/volunteer assistance to other church ministries & activities
Monthly mailing of get-well cards to church members on sick & shut-in list
Mail sympathy cards to church members upon a death in family
Support/volunteer at Knox Area Rescue Mission
Volunteer assistance at Salvation Army upon request
Serve as Bell Ringers during holiday for Salvation Army
Support the Eagle’s Nest Women’s Recovery Program
Support local organizations/agencies upon request
Work with Minister of Education identifying community outreach opportunities
Community Outreach Ministry fellowshipping with ladies at Knoxville Area Rescue Mission.
